Curating the Perfect Client Gift

CURATING THE PERFECT CLIENT GIFT

With the holiday season among us, and with the larger in-person celebrations slow to return, we tasked ourselves to curate thoughtful and impactful client gifts that engage, show appreciation, and keep our brand fondly placed in their hearts and minds. As this is a service we offer for all of our on-line and in-person events, it was only natural to continue this creative approach for our absolutely amazing clients.

By taking the time to know our audience or recipient, and their distinguished tastes, and collaborating with masterful suppliers, we’ve created many custom gift solutions that bypass the “same old, same old”  and guarantee an endearing WOW!  So much so, that the incredible response and word of mouth created sparked us to add custom gift curation as a key part of the Charlie & Sprocket service menu.

Take a look below at our Top 5 things to Consider to Curate the Perfect Gift for your clients this season.

  1. Listen and Learn
Gone are the days of gifts of branded pens and notepads.   Do some background research to hone in on your client’s likes, interests and lifestyle.  Ask questions and most importantly listen for clues along the way.

  2. Plan Ahead
Give yourself plenty of lead time.  Sourcing products, ordering samples, making final selections, production, and delivery all take time and should be scheduled accordingly in a work back plan to ensure your gift arrives on the desired date.

  3. Don’t Overbrand
Subtlety is superb when it comes to branding your gift. Keep corporate logos to the packaging elements and not on the items themselves. You’ll still be thought of every time that they use their gift.

  4. Presentation is Everything
No matter how small or expensive the gift, it’s the details of the presentation that will make the most exciting and lasting impression.   Create the “wow”  with unique, fun or in-theme packaging and wrap details.

  5. Make it Personal
A handwritten note with a thoughtful message meant just for them means so much more than a computer generated or stock card message.

If timelines get in the way of creating your own custom bespoke gift, there are some wonderful companies that turn around beautiful options quickly and at any budget. Some of our favorites include Baskits, Knack and Canary. Happy shopping!!
